11th Month Warranty Inspection
Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We’ll come out during the 11th month and perform a full home inspection before the building warranty expires. With this report, you can take the necessary steps to hold your builder to their warranties while they’re still in force.
I also recommend having your home tested for radon and getting your sewer line inspected while I'm there. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. today. About 50% of homes in Colorado have radon levels higher than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agencies recommended action level. This is found in old homes and also brand new. I have also seen problems with sewer lines in new construction. Contractors get rushed during construction, leading to expensive mistakes being made that should be corrected before your warranty expires. Call or email to schedule today.
